John Deere Picture Cards

This blog article was originally posted on my first blog In Our Pond.  I started out trying to put all my travel content on my homeschooling blog, but it grew to be too big.  So, I'm moving all the road trip stuff over here!  It'll probably take me a while to move all the posts, but I'll also be posting new content on here as well.  In Our Pond will now be exclusively for homeschooling and parenting content, while this blog (Party Through the USA) is for all the family travel posts.  Check them both out!

My boys are crazy about John Deere.  They love the "All About John Deere" videos, and every time we pass a John Deere dealership, they all cry out," John Deere heaven!"  We don't actually own a John Deere, but that doesn't stop the boys from seeking them out every time we leave the house.  Even as I'm writing this, the kids are watching a Youtube video about how a John Deere combine harvests corn.

There are a few John Deere books that look very interesting, but we have a strict "no book" policy for road trips.  Instead, I've made the boys some John Deere picture cards that show tractors in action all over the world.  I'm going to print and laminate them, and then connect them with a book ring.  I think the boys will enjoy looking at them at we drive.  We may even see some John Deere tractors in action on our trip!
Download the picture cards here.  The pictures all came from Wikimedia Commons.
